What is a Punchout Catalog?
Video explanation and demonstration for Punchout Catalogs provides clear insight to Punchout.
Punchout is a connection between a buyers procurement system and a suppliers e-Commerce shopping cart. Punchout helps suppliers provide real time catalog pricing and availability to their Buyers. This short video includes an explanation and example of what a punchout catalog is and how the state of Virginia (eVA) uses Ariba to manage spending online and access Punchout Catalogs.

This video did help us to understand punchout. We have a buyer on Ariba and another on Coupa. The Coupa buyer is only allowed to purchase some of the products we offer. Can you connect to Both buyers?

Hi Ron, Glad you liked the video and Great question! This can simply be setup for your company as such: We would setup your main catalog for the Ariba Buyer and configure their credentials to indeed allow them to punchout to this main catalog. For the Coupa Buyer, we would use "Multi Store" setup for Magento and setup (example: yourdomain.com/buyer2 or buyer2.yourdomain.com). The Coupa buyer would enter the example URL and have access to the products you wish them to see. Our system is very flexible and if more buyers come on down the road, this solution can grow and expand as you require. If you want to add more buyers to these catalogs, we can certainly accommodate that as well. We can also co-brand the Buyers catalog on your site. Let us know if you have any other questions. We look forward to talking "punchout catalogs" with you.
