With 2,200 registrants and live streaming, Ariba LIVE 2014 has officially earned its bragging rights as “the single-largest gathering of procurement and finance professionals in the world.”

Seth Kinne, PunchOut2Go’s business development manager and a first timer at Ariba LIVE, said, “It seems that now, more than ever, buyers and suppliers alike are hungry for information as well as details in how they can get set up with punchout. Our PunchOut2Go booth at the Ariba LIVE 2014 show in Las Vegas had a steady flow of such people, and we're already starting to assist many of them in streamlining the eProcurement process with PunchOut, PO and Invoice solutions. Suppliers were especially excited to learn that with PunchOut2Go they can remain on their existing e-commerce platform and also that we offer plug n' play PunchOut solutions for popular E-Commerce platforms such as Magento, thus making the punchout process even easier to offer their customers.”

Punchout catalog requirements are continuously rising in popularity in the procurement world and we believe that our success in locating where companies are having the most difficulty is definitely allowing us to stay on top and potentially fueling the hunger for punchout catalogs.

During the keynote presentation, Bert Jacobs, CEO of Life is Good, focused on the importance of a positive attitude not only in the work place, but in life as a whole. He said, “We have a choice every day when we wake up…we can focus on what’s wrong with our lives or what’s wrong with our business or we can focus on what’s right.” Watch the Keynote.

Brady Behrman and Shawn McKnight, PunchOut2Go’s founders, live their lives with this attitude and thus PunchOut2Go has developed a company culture that also reflects the positive rather than the negative. We gather weekly to discuss our successes, failures and then to investigate where we, or our customers, are running into problems. Just like Jacobs said, we treat every problem as an opportunity.

Most of PunchOut2Go’s solutions have evolved from issues or concerns we have recognized in the eprocurement industry. For example, we recognized that many companies not only need a punchout catalog, but they also require purchase orders and invoice integrations. We additionally offer our customers the ability to accept purchase orders and submit invoices electronically. It’s the same with our Draft Cart solution; we realized there was a high demand for suppliers to pass equotes through their desired applications, and now they can. Just like Jacobs, we “listen, watch, [and] see what people love” to assure that we can offer the most effective and user friendly tools possible.

Attending tradeshows like Ariba LIVE is one of the ways we strive to take every opportunity available to meet with new and potential customers, listen to what other procurement professionals are talking about, challenges they are facing and absorb as much new information as we possibly can. We are excited to attend AribaLIVE 2015 to continue our cycle of learning, innovating, and implementing so we can all grow together.
